Earth Day Event: Erie, PA

Julie Brosious’ Think Energy team will convene at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center (TREC), located at the entrance to Presque Isle, on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 9:30 AM. There, they will collect maps, bags, and gloves provided by the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR). Following a short drive to the Stull Interpretive Center and Nature Shop, as well as Beach 1, they will commence the Beach Clean-Up initiative, addressing the persistent debris accumulation caused by lake currents in the area. Twenty Two members of the team will dedicate 2 hours to this endeavor before regrouping at Linda Austin’s residence for a well-deserved lunch and camaraderie.
